I have a P320 spectre comp but it’s not my EDC. I only use it for pistol competitions.

I have owned a SIG P320 M18 for several years and have not had any problems with it. I carry it a fair amount as well.

Keith,

Thank you for all you do to help keep us safe, and the training you provide us to keep our churches safe. I’m disappointed to hear of another Sig 320 injury. As an owner of one also, I would like to know if this is a gun issue, or another issue. Check out this video I found on the subject.

I own a sig p320 had it for maybe ten years. I recently stopped using it as my everyday carry because of these reports. Do you have any idea what is the mechanism causing this??

I do not. There are several theories, and a few people in both blogs and on YouTube claim to have been able to replicate it, but there does not seem to be a consensus.

Sig said the problem of inadvertent discharges has been corrected. Had the gun in this recent incident been "corrected", or was it one of those issued before those with the "fix" were sold. If it was a previous model, had it ever been "fixed" by Sig? My P320s were later models; Sig said they are not "safe" What's the truth?

You are mistaken sir. Sig corrected the problem of the P320's not being drop safe, and even then, it was a "voluntary upgrade," not a recall. That was years ago and early in the life of the P320.

Sig denies the current issue affecting the P320's even exists. According to Sig, there is no problem. Every single incident like the one in that video is a fluke and is the fault of the holster, the cop, a key, or something else on the cop's uniform or belt.
