I own 2 P320 x-carrys. My grandson owns the M17. I called SIG yesterday and asked them about this issue with the guns firing without the trigger being depressed. They said the guns were safe, checked the serial numbers on my guns and said they were safe. If these guns are not safe as they say, they need to immediately recall them and either;1) refund the purchase price, or 2) fix whatever the problem is before more people get hurt. I am a diehard SIG fan. I currently own a P226, which was my first duty gun, 2 P365s, & 2 P320s. I'm hopeful SIG will do the right thing here.

I've been a Sig fan boy ever since my first LE job back in the late 80's when I was issued a 220. As my career progressed I moved on to a different dept. There I was issued a 226 and made SRT and became K-9. After 28 yrs of service I retired and still carry a Sig religiously. It's either my M11 A1 or X MACRO. Although I do have a 320 compact in 45acp. I've had it for prob 5 yrs now. Due to all the "stories" of discharges I don't EDC it. It sits in my safe holstered and has never discharged on It's own

Yep.... I love all the Sig P series pistols EXCEPT the 320.... no way in hell will I carry or recommend one. Design flaw... and how it won over Glock for the military I am skeptical about.... fully.

I used to absolutely love Sig Sauer, as soon as they moved everything to the USA and gave control of design to the US... I stopped. Even the 365 had major issues...

I think he is referring to the early life of the P365. Very early guns had significant issues with the striker dragging on the primers as the gun cycled. It was so bad that the MIM strikers were breaking. They resolved those fairly quickly. It is possible there were other issues as well early on, but the striker thing is the only one I remember.

How many gens are they into? The first 4 gens had issues. You can look it up. Plenty of “influenceers” posted videos.

I never knew there were "generations" of the 365?

I've had my 365 X MACRO for about a yr now and it's never had an issue or failed me with any type of ammo I've ran thru it

I carried a 226 pretty much all of my LE career even on SRT for my pistol. Off duty and when I retired it was an M11A1. But since I carry AIWB the X MACRO is so much more lightweight, comfortable and concealable. It's damn near as accurate and holds a few more rounds too.
