I live in fear every day here in Montana. Almost everyone owns a scary gun. I dont even lock my doors at night because Im so afraid a gunmen will get into my house and I wont be able to escape him and his scary gun before he turns his AR-15 (automatic rifle, the 15 stands for how many people it can kill each second) fully automatic with the ghost gun feature and/or bump stock and the clip that holds 1000 bullets.

Im literally shaking right now just thinking about it.

These “gun safety” grades are actually grades for how much the state has eliminated the Constitutional right to keep & bear arms. In these states, you are denied the right of SELF-DEFENSE, because an unarmed, elderly woman like me is helpless if attacked by a criminal.

Prior to the 1970s, gun laws were weak and few, yet homicide rates were low.

"What is the point? There is absolutely zero correlation between strict gun laws and homicide rates."

Criminals don't follow laws. Anti-gun laws just male law abiding citizens more vulnerable and easier targets to criminals.

Crazy I never thought an armed populace would be less susceptible to being murdered...........so gun free zones actually have a higher murder rate?...........weird

Well reasoned and factually supported response. Thanks for offering your best argument disproving the data I provided.

Is it possible to superimposed the Giffords gun grades on the same map as the crimes scores? That would be quite telling. Also, correlation analysis on violent crime's relationship with low gun safety scores would probably tell the story as well.

It almost resembles the 2024 election map; there are a few differences.
