Things Have Changed, Forever

As of May 30th, 2024, things have changed forever. The political left hates Trump so much, they crossed lines and done things that no matter what, they can never walk back.

First, let me say this, I don't even like Trump. I voted against him in the primaries. If you look at my posts regarding him going all the way back to 2015, it will be obvious I don't like him. He is no friend to gun owners (he pushed numerous infringements including the bump stock ban) and personality wise, I can't stand the man. He is a narcissist and a braggard.

That said, I voted for him, and other than the gun issues, I was happy with his results during his presidency.

Nothing about what follows is about Trump per se, but rather is about what he represents - a political opponent of the left, one they bitterly hate.

During Trump's entire presidency, the libs were completely unhinged about him. I mean I don't like the guy, but what they have going on extends far beyond dislike and delves deep into severely mentally unstable. They made up lies (all disproven I might add) that they dished out to anyone who would listen via their leftist allies in the mainstream media for years.

Ever since Biden took office in an election that was questionable at best, stolen at worst, they have continued to go after him for extremely trivial stuff in a manner never seen before in this country.

Prosecutors (bought and paid for by George Soros) from local jurisdictions have filed charges against the former President of the United States, charges that they would not bring against any other citizen.

The prosecutor in NYC, Alvin Bragg, a prosecutor who routinely does not file cases on violent felons in his own city, a prosecutor who routinely files charges on citizens who have been forced to defend themselves from violent felons, filed charges against Trump for what at best are Class E felonies, but which in all reality are misdemeanors, and did so years beyond the statute of limitations. The fact that this case was allowed to be brought shows how biased the judge is.

The fact that the case against Trump is being called the "hush money trial" completely demonstrates how stupidly trivial the actual matter is.

People with large sums of money, business, large companies, corporations, and people including Bill Clinton, routinely pay other people to shut up and go away. These payments are called "settlements" and people involved in those generally sign an NDA, or a non-disclosure agreement. This happens daily in this country. In 1999, Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones $850k to shut up and go away.

This case against Trump is the hugest nothing-burger there ever was.

Yet the political left has gone all in on it, to get the guy they have a mental hard on for.

The libs cry about "saving our democracy" (we're a constitutional republic you freaking morons!) while they are simultaneously, actively doing the exact opposite. They are literally trying over and over and over, to jail a political opponent while simultaneously excusing the exact same behavior by people "on their team."

They are actively trying to remove the Electoral College.

They are actively flooding the country with illegal immigrants and arguing that they deserve the right to vote.

They are using the three letter fed and state agencies to silence their political rivals.

If they truly believed in "democracy" they would duke it out at the ballot box, but that is not what they are doing. That is the opposite of what they are doing.

All this shit reminds me of exactly what was done in every communist country in order to keep their leaders in power.

The Democrat party has crossed the line. This is no longer about minor disagreements on the way to best run this country. They have taken this into uncharted territory. There are no take backs. The Democrat Party is the enemy of the United States.

It scares and saddens me. I don't recognize the country I grew up in.

I honestly don't know where we go from here.
