High Capacity Magazines May Become a Felony in Virginia
The democrats in Virginia are hell bent on destroying gun rights after taking the majority in Virginia. After writing bills that would make possession of "assault rifles" a crime, they threatened to call in the National Guard when police officers said they would not enforce these unconstitutional laws. Now they want to take your high capacity magazines.
Virignia H.B. 961
A Virginia law maker wants to make it a felony for anyone who possesses a high capacity magazine. On January 7, law maker Mark Levine filed a bill, H.B. 961, which would make it a crime for a Virginia citizen to possess even a magazine holding more than 10 rounds of ammo.
They're not stopping there as usual.
So, what happens if you own a high capacity magazine? You have until January 2021 to destroy it, surrender it to authorities or send it out of state. After that, it would be a felony crime to possess one.
Following California's Lead
I lived in California and lived through the democrats reign of terror on gun rights. I watched as they banned handguns, "assault weapons", and high capacity magazines. Many of us have seen firsthand what happens when democrats seize control of a state legislature. None of these measures worked in California. I know because I was a cop there for 29 years working SWAT and Narcotics. I watched our crime run rampant and ruin good communities.
Now the democrats in Virginia are following California's lead. If you've been to California lately, you know that is not a good thing. These gun laws only criminalize good citizens. The good news is that our latest poll shows cops dislike these new laws and the actions of Virginia sheriffs have shown they will not comply.
