A few days ago, I wrote about an offer I had received from a new optics company. I suggested that the contract they wanted me to sign made it appear that what they were seeking was more advertising than a review. I included a screen grab of the email I sent them.
I am happy to report that my email was not just discarded as “just some nobody so who cares.” It also appears that my opinion of what they wanted was not completely incorrect.
The screen grab below is the email I received in response.
To say this response was refreshing is an understatement. I was truly surprised by how receptive they were.
Initially, based on photos and the description of their optics, I was very interested in reviewing one of their products. Then the let down set in when I read the contract. But this response has, their commitment to an honest review, tells me how much they believe in their optic.
So yes, I am absolutely down to test one of their optics. One of their 1-8 LPVO’s is on its way to me, and I am excited to get my hands on it.
Once I am done evaluating it, the review of that optic will appear both here in writing, and over on YouTube for those who prefer to watch instead of read.
